Role

An exciting opportunity, due to continual growth, has arisen at my client’s organisation for an ambitious individual to join as a Dairy Farm Worker, responsible for the day to day Dairy duties.

You will be given many opportunities to take your own initiative and responsibility, which means you will be partly able to interpret your position and its future perspective yourself.

Aim of the role:

To be the recognised Dairy Farm Worker for my client’s organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Tractor Driving

Mixing Feed using a Telehandler

Road Hauling of feed stuffs and slurry etc

Understanding of grassland management and workshop experience would be ideal – but are not essential

Crop spraying cert would also be a bonus but is not essential

Health and Safety

​Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:

MUST have Dairy Farm experience

MUST have tractor and telehandler experience

MUST have a strong knowledge of the UK’s Cattle and Sheep sectors.

MUST be hardworking

IDEALLY will have a crop spraying certificate

IDEALLY will have a grassland management background and workshop knowledge

​Additional Information:

25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Generous training allowance

Salary package:

£20,000 – £25,000 depending upon experience Plus accommodation!
